Weeks Work Into One

Abruptly the dog skids to a hold. Sand spray out like a fountain and smothers the the little boys ice cream. Tears start to trickle down the boys sunburnt cheeks as he realises the is creamy treat is now uneatable. Guilt crosses the mans face as he hives another piece of drift wood across the busy beach, but the dog is no longer interested. tongue hanging out the dog bounds across the sandy ground then launches his large body onto the little boy. Laughter pieces thought the as the little boy round around while the dog tries to lick up the ice cream in his hand.
