This languages feather helps me to understand the text because personification (giving non-human things human traits) helps us to understand the writer’s feelings towards the object. For example “The dog barks goodbye”. Because the dog cant actually barks goodbye the writer used personification to show that she felt as if when the dog barked as they left it was saying goodbye. Another use of personification “The Triumph 2000 dies”. The Triumph 2000 cant actually dies as it was never living in the first place so the writer giving The Triumph 2000 a human trait of dying, helps us to understand the sadness she and he family had as the cant broke down as they would no longer be able to continue there road trip.
