Magic Shop (Laughing lollies)

Magic Shop (Laughing lollies)

Filled with shadows was the eerie little alleyway. ‘No one ever came out alive’ was the legend that had been past through generation. Often the towns kids were dared by there friends to see far how they could go, but they were too scared to get very far. But if one were to venture all the way to the end of the alley, a muggle wouldn’t see a thing; just a few dirty old dustbins and shadows dashing around them the smell of rotten trash in the air. But if a witch or a wizard decide did to take a look they would see a tiny little Lolly shop with the sign Laughing Lollies half hanging from the top of the door.

A little shed was what it looked like paint peeled off the walls showing the dusty bricks underneath. The moment one steps inside the whole shop’s appearance changes. Inside its the size of a football pitch and the roof is as high as a fully grown pine tree. As the door swings open a strong sent of sugar fills the air overpowering all other smells. The first thing you see as burst inside glowing with anticipation is Sadie, the shop owner she always has a great big smile stretched across her face, showing her patchy black and rotted down teeth. Sadie’s hair was a vibrant shade of red that stands out in from all the lollies, her hair fell into wildly frizzy ringlets that reached her waist. A tall pointy hat sats built upright on the head as she successfully greets every customer the approaches the store, with a cheerful  ‘hello’ or a ‘how do you do.

Laughter fills your ears while you gaze upon with rows and row of different lollies; all different shapes, sizes and colours. Each type of lolly had their own individual magic twist. Broad smiles dance across every customer’s face as they explored and experimented the shelves of lollies. Over at the first row was a small girl in a fluffy white tutu, excitedly chewed at a pink eagle shape gummy the tasted like strawberries while giggling as she watches her big bother flu around. A bright pink sign hung above the shelve that said ‘GROW SOME EAGLE WINGS’.

The shops most famous lolly creation is the popping candy parroite. The moment this is eaten the persons voice changes acording to the last person to speek
